Strength training also improves your willpower which will influence your conditioning and your ability to move more weight.

WHY CHOOSE STRENGTH TRAINING?

Strength training is a staple part of any fitness and exercise regime. WHAT'S INVOLVED IN STRENGTH TRAINING?

Depending on your overall goals, we will tailor a strength can conditioning programme to suit you. This may involve using you own body weight if you are less experienced. Exercises could include, squats, lunges and push-ups. If you’re more advanced or start to gain control over your motion, we will then look at adding more resistance and include more progressive exercises with kettlebells and Olympic bars. Strength training emphasises bursts of energy followed by a controlled negative motion.

There are numerous medical benefits to this training programme including fighting osteoporosis and lowering your risk of diabetes. More often than not, people choose to include this in their regime to either compliment their sporting activities or to simply challenge themselves and improve their aesthetic appearance.
